Sometimes it doesn’t take much to realize how important gathering places are for a community. That’s exactly what sparked the idea for our flagship project, “KIOSK Gand.”

When the first discussions on this topic began in 2022, it quickly became clear: Many people live in Gand—but there was no real gathering place or local amenities. A place where people could meet, chat, or simply spend a little time together.

Today, we are all the more pleased that the KIOSK Gand has created just such a space. A gathering place for all generations, a little extra quality of life in everyday life, and—in the future—even a planned 24/7 store in the basement, making local shopping possible right on the premises.

At the BAUBAU Party on May 7, 2026, we had the opportunity not only to present this project but also to showcase what VIVIUS fundamentally stands for: sustainable construction that is responsible and forward-looking—or, as we call it, “grandchild-friendly.”

After all, we see construction not merely as the implementation of projects, but as an opportunity to create living spaces that benefit people in the long term. This is precisely what our network of companies in the construction industry stands for—working together to develop solutions.

But there was one thing in particular that we found especially wonderful that evening: the personal interactions. The many conversations, encounters, and genuine interest demonstrated once again just how important strong networks and shared visions are.

And since we’ve actually been asked this question quite often: No, we’re not dog trainers.
