On the initiative of Vivius, a film project was launched in collaboration with the client and the companies involved in the construction. This documents and accompanies the construction of a sustainable multi-story apartment building made entirely of solid wood. The property is a prime example of natural and healthy living in South Tyrol.
On the initiative of Vivius, a film project was launched in collaboration with the client and the companies involved in the construction. This documents and accompanies the construction of a sustainable multi-story apartment building made entirely of solid wood. The property is a prime example of natural and healthy living in South Tyrol.
During construction, special emphasis is placed on the use of natural resources in a manner that respects regional economic cycles. Small-business and regional structures are strengthened through cooperation within the skilled trades. This makes it possible to carry out even larger projects. At the same time, innovative workflows identified through the ongoing digitization of the construction industry are implemented through this cooperation. Efficiency on the construction site is increased, and natural resources are conserved.
Calculating the ecological footprint makes it possible to measure the results of these measures. This assessment considers not only the construction of the building but also its entire life cycle, including demolition and disposal.
The film project is aimed at private builders, public entities, real estate developers, and students at technical high schools and universities. The goal is to raise awareness.
