More than 40 participants explored this central question at the “Space, Landscape, Future” practical forum held at Haus Guggenberg in Brixen. It was a morning filled with exciting ideas, practical insights, and valuable discussions about the sustainable design of our villages, cities, and landscapes.
The event focused on the question of how we can make our living spaces greener, more climate-resilient, and more livable. The diverse panel discussions and hands-on stations highlighted concrete approaches and opportunities for achieving sustainable development in our built and natural environments.
The topics ranged from renaturation and greening to “sponge city” concepts, sustainable construction, and forward-looking community development. It became clear just how important it is to bring together different perspectives and work collaboratively on solutions to the challenges of tomorrow.
In addition to the professional insights, the practical forum provided ample opportunity for one-on-one conversations and exchanges among people from different fields. It was precisely this diversity of perspectives that made the event particularly valuable and demonstrated the great potential of interdisciplinary collaboration.
The keen interest and lively discussions among the more than 40 participants underscored the importance of the topic and the desire to work together to actively and sustainably develop our living environments.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the speakers, contributors, and participants for their valuable contributions, the interesting discussions, and their great dedication.
Special thanks go to our co-organizers—Haus Guggenberg, Grünstadt Symposium, TopHaus, and the BNE Center—for their wonderful collaboration and for helping us bring this event to life.
We look back on a successful morning filled with many new ideas, food for thought, and meaningful encounters, and we look forward to continuing this dialogue and working together to create livable communities for the future.
