This project focused on the sustainable renovation of an old farmhouse. The goal was to create a residential building for three families that uses sustainable building materials and minimizes environmental impact. Hemp was used as a building material, combined with traditional materials such as natural lime and water, to produce hemp bricks. This construction method combines ecological efficiency with regional economic benefits. To complement the sustainable construction method, a wall-mounted heating system was installed in which reed mats serve as supports for the heating elements. The system provides comfortable radiant heat and is powered by renewable energy from a photovoltaic system on the roof.
