In the latest issue of *Südtiroler Landwirt* (No. 18, October 10, 2025), VIVIUS was mentioned twice—once in connection with the annual conference and once in relation to sustainable renovation.
Symposium on “Sustainable Construction”
On October 17, VIVIUS will hold its annual conference at Progress in Brixen. The article highlights that the innovation cluster, comprising 17 South Tyrolean companies, is committed to simple, resource-efficient, and healthy construction. The focus is on regional building materials and construction methods that blend harmoniously into the landscape.
Sustainable Renovation with SUSMAT
The second article introduces the EU project SUSMAT, which develops sustainable renovation concepts for historic buildings. Using the Mesnerstadele in Mölten as an example, Jela Kohse (VIVIUS) and Elena Poma (Eurac) demonstrate how regional materials and life-cycle analyses lead to environmentally friendly solutions.
