VIVIUS learns | Study trip "Building with wood"

As part of a specialist excursion organized by IDM, VIVIUS took part in the study trip "Building with wood" in North Tyrol. Three showcase projects were visited: the RAIQA building and the headquarters of Tiroler Versicherung in Innsbruck as well as the headquarters of ASI-Reisen in Natters, designed by Snøhetta.

Accompanied by local experts, the group gained valuable insights into topics such as the integration of wood and existing structures, hybrid construction methods, multi-story wood construction, and functional buildings made of wood. The projects demonstrated how wood construction, in line with the principles of a circular economy, offers innovative and sustainable solutions for the future.
