On February 12, 2025, the first evening of the lecture series “Let’s Build for the Future!” took place at the Tannerhof in Girlan. Following an introduction by Prantl & Prantl, Christine Romen, Climate Community advisor for the municipality of Eppan, presented the measures the Climate Community has implemented to date. Michael Kaun, a certified energy consultant from AFB, then outlined practical steps for energy-efficient renovation and provided information on available funding opportunities.

Next to speak were Verena Oberrauch and Gianni D’Albano from the Eppan Building Authority, who provided insights into the legal framework and support services available to building owners. The presentations concluded with Christine Pfeifer, president of VIVIUS, who discussed the importance of sustainable building materials and innovative construction concepts and offered ideas for a building culture that will stand the test of time for future generations.

The evening was rounded out with an open Q&A session and a reception, which provided ample opportunity for discussion and networking. The event highlighted how important collaboration between the municipality, consulting firms, and innovative stakeholders is for a sustainable building culture.
