During the meeting with the founding companies, the focus was on ensuring that not only senior management but also the employees of the partner companies embrace the concept of the innovation cluster. The goal was to highlight the motivation behind joining the cluster and to demonstrate that research, planning, and construction can only have a sustainable impact when they work together.
At the outset, the terms “innovation cluster” and “sustainability” were explained. It was emphasized that sustainability encompasses not only environmental aspects but also social and economic ones—and that it can only be successful in the long term if all three dimensions are considered together.
VIVIUS then presented the projects in the TRIFFT, LERNT, and FORSCHT categories. Under FORSCHT, the sustainable construction project at the NOI Techpark and SUSMAT were presented; under LERNT, the focus was on the conference and the educational trip. TRIFFT, in turn, highlighted the value of exchange and cooperation in fostering a sustainable building culture.
